Courses and workshops that are conducted at Froebel Professional Teaching Centre revolve around the concept of deepening teachers’ content knowledge and pedagogical skills through research and reflection.

We offer;

  • A  14 week  Professional Teaching Course founded on the basic principles of teaching and learning and the requirements of becoming an effective element in the classroom.
  • Pre service and teacher preparation programmes
  • In-house training courses
  • Workshops  based on the need identified by the school

Special features:

This course is made special by the very experienced faculty and focus towards experiential learning also what sets us apart is the ample opportunities for classroom observations during the course as we are well placed in being attached to the Froebel Education Centre.


Eligible candidates for this course will, at minimum, have done their Graduation or their A-Levels prior to applying for the course.

Admission procedure

In-take for the course takes place twice a year; In August – September for the first batch and in     January – February for the second batch. Interested candidates may download the registration form here and email or post it to the Teaching Centre a month prior to the batch they are interested in. Candidates may also call and visit our centre a month prior to the batch starting in order to register for the course.

Once registrations have been received short listing will take place and successful candidates will be intimated following which they may come in for admittance.


In-house Teacher Training

In-house training courses are customizable to the needs of the group being trained; these are generally short courses for teachers on job. There are regular courses for teachers working within the FEC Team. In addition we have also conducted trainings for other school groups as required.
