Looking back, I recall that FEC always had a strong focus on discipline and respect. Our overall conduct was expected to be immaculate and we were taught to respect everybody around us. This stays with you in the years to come and will matter a lot in your career – the real world is all about the perception people have of you and the respect you give to others is what you ultimately receive.
More importantly, FEC is an institution that encouraged my determination to do well in my academic life, despite a few setbacks that I once had. That encouragement is still with me till this day.
To rise after a fall is how we define success in the working life where failure is inevitable at some point; we must be encouraged to learn from it and overcome it.
